Duties

  • Conduct regular pool cleaning, including skimming, vacuuming, and brushing to maintain pristine water quality.
  • Perform routine pool maintenance tasks such as checking and adjusting chemical levels to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair pool equipment including pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators using hand tools and power tools.
  • Identify mechanical issues promptly and execute repairs efficiently to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain detailed records of service visits, repairs performed, and maintenance schedules for each client’s pool system.
  • Assist with opening and closing pools seasonally or as needed, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
  • Communicate clearly with clients about maintenance needs, safety procedures, and ongoing care recommendations.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience in equipment repair or pool maintenance preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with pool cleaning techniques and chemical balancing.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Service technician experience or similar roles involving equipment troubleshooting is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work independently while following safety standards diligently.
  • Valid driver’s license required; willingness to learn industry-specific safety practices.
